BODY-MIND HEALTH THROUGH SOMATIC MOVEMENT EDUCATION
It has been a long four months and we hope that you and your loved ones are all well. We are pleased to tell you that we have had the green light from the government and will be reopening the doors to the studio from Monday 27th July.
See the home page for our current range of classes. If you don't see anything to suit you then please contact u... s as we run classes according to demand and have a waiting list. It may be that we are just waiting for one more name on the list in order to run the class.
Many of you have been taking advantage of our online Pilates sessions and we will continue with these as required but we may have to shift the schedule around somewhat to allow for this transition.
We are fortunate to have a large, well ventilated space and to have always taught clients in small group sizes so we don't have to change much about how we work. However we do have a new layout in the studio to comply with UK ACTIVE guidelines and will adhere to social-distancing and the required cleaning protocols. This means that there will be a 30 minute break between classes for cleaning and that we will not be teaching overlapping classes. There will be only one teacher and their clients in the space at a time. These restrictions mean that you may not be able to have your standing appointment at the same time as before lockdown but we will do our best to find slots to suit you.
What we need from you:
For the smooth running of the studio and to keep everyone safe we need you to abide by the rules of the facility:
*Stay at home if you are unwell.
*Arrive at the studio shortly before your session starts. If you are early please sit in your car until we are ready for
*Arrive ready to exercise. We will not be providing any changing facilities.
*Use hand sanitiser before entering the building. Hand sanitiser will be available at the entrance, in the studio and in reception.
*Only use the toilet facilities if absolutely necessary.
*Catch coughs and sneezes in a tissue or in your sleeve.
*Observe social-distancing rules of 2 metres at all times.
*Wear socks in the studio. Grip socks are advisable.
*Bring your personal small equipment with you to class Exer-soft balls, Thera-bands, Spiky balls etc (we sell these in the studio).
*Wipe down your mat and equipment and anything you have touched with Clinell wipes at the end of your session.
*Pay by Card or Contactless payment.
*Leave promptly after your session.
Reception and Admin:
Initially, to minimise numbers, we will not have any reception and admin staff on site. This will be done outside of class hours so your teacher will be taking payments and recording class attendance. Please email any queries to the studio so we can answer your queries in full and not take time away from cleaning the facilities between classes.
